Rainbow Baby Kaylie
It wasn't until recently that I've become familiar with term Rainbow Baby. Defined by The Bump, "a Rainbow Baby is a baby born shortly after the loss of a previous baby due to miscarriage, stillbirth, or death in infancy. This term is given to these special rainbow babies because a rainbow typically follows a storm, giving us hope of what’s to come."
Last month Kaydin, Kaylie's big brother, won his fight with AML Leukemia. Although his journey here was short, he made his mark as a warrior. Kaydin would have been two years old on May 29th.
Soon, baby Kaylie will make her way into the world. She'll start her journey and make her mark. To bring some light to Kelly and Kenny's world.
